The Hound Is Back

by Terminal Boardom » 05 Aug 2009 13:18

Legendary Royals reporter Clive Baskerville is rejoining the Reading Post sports team.

The Hound, who first covered the club in 1986, will once again be providing his compelling post-match analysis.

That will make a change, someone who knows about about football writing in the local press !

I don't always agree with him but no doubting Clive is well informed and we shouldn;t see the sort of elementary errors that have crept in of late to the press coverage.....

Excellent news. Remember the heady days of the late 80's where I'd often meet him outside away grounds in the hope of cadging a freebie. Always liked to chat with him.

Often see him wandering around Maidenhead looking scruffy. The news that Clive Baskerville is back > the news that we have signed Matthew Mills.
