Another reasonable result to keep us ticking over until we get in another decent striker.

Would you be calling these draws reasonable results if Rodgers was still here?

YOU would call 0-4 a reasonable result under Clueless Charlatan Bodgers!?!?!

A draw against Swansea and a win against Plymouth and BM should get the job until the end of the season IMO.

swansea jack We have an excellent defensive record and you have strikers that couldn't hit a barn door so it'll be 4-0 to you

:)

with the season we're having anything's possible.

Can't see why people would be happy with a draw.
If we draw the rest of our games we probably would be relegated.
I want to see us go for a win in every game and if for example we won just 3 games out of 7 or say 4 out of 10 or say 8 out of 22 the points should be enough.
If we are still going for promotion we need to win a few more.

Hopefully the club will make sure that the game is on and there's not too much water on the pitch as there was for that Leicester game a few years ago.

I'd suggest it has something to do with Swansea being fifth in the table, with excellent away form, as well as our miserable home form.

I don't see many people suggesting we should try to draw either. Just that a draw would be a good result. Totally different things. I'd have thought VM would be able to grasp that.

I don't recall us losing 4-0 under Rodgers strap - perhaps you can check your database as it's all you're good for?

Draws away against Bristol and home vs Swansea in their current form? Yes, yes I would. But at the same time Rodgers put pressure on himself to win hard games by fouling up so many easier ones. McDermott also gets more leeway for being early in his tenure and inheriting a squad from someone else he can do nothing about.

Rodgers had an entire preseason and signed seven players, he also had 23 games prior to these two in which to show me something I could believe in, and failed in all but one or two.

Preston were on form when we beat them up there but that doesn't come into it as Rodgers was manager and you have an irrational hatred for him. Did Rodgers not inherit a squad without being able to do much about it with his net spend of -£9 million as cloth was cut?

Rodgers came into the club not having seen any of the players in competitive games before pre-season and tried everyone out. You only believed in what happened in one or two games? We played well in most of the games this season but weren't able to finish teams off due to a lack of firepower - see Bristol City away last week.

I never understand people with this kind of viewpoint. You'll be relegated by the time JM 'sacks' him. Wouldn't that be worse?

I agree - I do not see the logic in it either.

I am rather optimistic about this one...

Reading 2 - 1 Swansea

Rasiak and Kebe for the goals.

Defeat required to get rid of B Mc. Demonstrations against The Madman at full time.

Bring mince pies to throw at the Madman. The tight arse will then sell them in the concourse at the next home game. Three times their normal retail value!

Demonstrations required. SDR main man with all the Real Facts.

Shitty Christmas on the cards for the Royals unlessssssssssssss
