Stretton Royal
Royal Lady I'd take a "not fit enough" Manset over Church at the moment.

What are you going to do after he has to come off after 25 minutes with exhaustion?

Captain Scarlet, what do you mean, what is she going to do? She's not the manager.

Royal Lady Put the boy from Eastleigh on. 8)

I think RL we might be seeing him sooner rather than later after all, Madejski has to justify the millions he paid out for a striker that's going to take us to the Premiership !!!!

ZacNaloen On my way home, 100% mcdermotts tactics that lost us that. Poor really poor.

Wasn't just me then. Almost sacrilegious to say so, but he showed his naivety tonight all be it against a vastly experienced manager. Crying out in the second half to make the pitch big and we played straight into their hands by shooting hoofball up the middle.

Normally we are very adapt at playing against 10 men, but tonight, got found out.

Body language alone, Colin won it 1-0. McD looked intimidated by Colin’s rants and clueless tactic wise, other than to do the same hoof tactics regardless to the fact they went down to ten men with over 50mins left of the game. That was poor Brian, the reason we always beat Sheff U when Warnock was in charge was because we imposed ourselves on them. Tonight was the reverse. “ YOU’LL SUPOOSE TO BE AT HOME “

Plus the fact those bleeding egg chasers under Madejski’s income revenue benefits feck up any chance of a straight pass not bobbling beyond 1.3meters.

Investment in the team = ambition, better players can't make it more simple than that platty really

How many points are QPR in front of us now ?

So don't blame the bloody rugby then. Bottom line is our players were not good enough to pass to feet on that pitch. Simple as.

After the first 3 games this season, QPR were 7 points clear of us with no game in hand

Prior to tonight's game they were 14 points clear of us.

That is, playing an extra game, they had managed to inch away by a whole 7 points in 26 games
or without that extra game, 4 points in 25 games.

We were hanging in there. Had we scraped a 1-0 win instead of unluckily losing 1-0
QPR would have gained 4 points in 26 games.

We AREN'T quite good enough, and QPR ARE good enough. They are 8 points clear of SECOND

But we are not a long way away, and Manset and Elwood will bring us closer.

I'm sort of with you on that one Tamworth. Sort of. I just don't think you should be excusing the lack of passing ability we saw tonight on the quality of the pitch. If a players good enough they can play on that pitch and Swansea manage it week in week out yet they haven't lavished a shed-load of money on their squad. It became hoof-ball tonight against 10 men. That ain't good enough.

Hell of a story

Nice book, and we all lived happy ever after.

Hope it's published in May when we see the final outcome......... I'll send you a copy perhaps you might edit it because in that one the nasty Mr Madejski gets away with murder yet again

Pearcey my grievance isn’t with you, the 442 didn’t work after 30 mins and nothing was done tactically to change that, Billy bonus happened …..10 men! Thereafter ……………. Well we all saw it hoof bloody hoof. But that said QPR have quality players (Because they want Prem football) and they deserved what they got.

Or looking at it another way - they have the spark we had, the confidence and the audacity to be a more coheasive team.

Rated as one of the best wins in Warnock's career as a manager, that say it all and what it means to the man as he hates Reading and the hostile crowd at the Mad Stad.

Respect the man, QPR down to 10 men he tell them to have a go where as McDermott told Reading to be cautious.

Not bad no points against QPR this season and we played 90 plus of the 180 minutes against 10 men!!
