Also it seems as though a lot of these problems with "day trippers" came from those in the 130s. And the main problem was people being told to sit down / silence from fans.
These by all accounts were the most popular seats, which suggests that actually these fans must have been at the front of the queue for tickets, ergo...they were actually season ticket holders?
Maybe it's a proportion of our ST base who are the ones who spoil the "fun", and to be fair, feel they have a right to complain as they are there through thick an thin?
I was with what you would define as a few day trippers, but they were standing, singing, swearing and bundling when we scored with the best of them.
Think it's a bit of a misnomer that loyalty necessarily = passion (in terms of displaying it in an extroverted way).
Just food for thought?
