Bizarre story really; I had to check that it was Mothers Day rather than All Fool's day when I heard this on SSN this morning.

League one?!? What do you mean, League one?!? They should start in League Two. Or better yet, start in non-league.

At least if they join League One they should have a pretty good chance of winning it straight away.

The league rules state that if a club goes bust then one team fewer is relegated. They can't "replace" anyone.

The highest that any club can apply to join is the three leagues below the Blue Square North/South.

The way to do it is to buy up a struggling club like Port Vale,
then change the name to Celtic & relocate to Glasgow ala MK Dons.
