Oh come on, he definitely makes a lot of some saves. I can think of at least one which involved a full length dive through the air when a quick step to one side and a lean could have achieved the same result.

A save is a save though :| Best defensive record in the league, 21 clean sheets and he still can't win some of you over

What part of my recent posts about him, or snowball's suggestion that he's an "excellent" player suggest he hasn't won us over?

Is it just because we refuse to pretend he's flawless?

The "save for the cameras" jibe that gets levelled at 'keepers always strikes me as odd.

I cannot remember a single occasion, ever, where a 'keeper has dropped a clanger resulting in a goal when trying to make a "camera save".

Exactly.

Snowball, define "camera" save.

Snowball and IR are apparently incapable of just admitting that they got it completely wrong.

He sometimes dives and tries to make an easy save look a bigger deal than it is.

And anyone who says he never does that is full of crap

He won me over two years ago.

Just because he's won a person over, doesn't mean he never does anything wrong

How many of these supposed "camera saves" have gone in the net?

But if you think the fact that the ball doesnt go in
excuses showboating, you're wrong

When a keeper "pretends" he need to dive, dives (taking a small risk) when he could have easily collected the ball

(one example)

This BTW is hilarious. The camera save thing has been a fact of Fedder's goalkeeping for the last 2-3 years
and now all of a sudden he's become Saint Adam?

Just because the initial shot doesn't go in doesn't mean that it's okay. For example: 1) Keeper palms it out rather than catching it, lands to an attacker, he scores. 2) Keeper tips it over when he could have caught it, they score from the corner.

Not saying that those specific examples have happened with Feds but you can see my point.
