cmonurz working class hero Hoop Blah No we didn't.
We signed him on loan and then completed it when he was acquitted. If he hadn't of got off we wouldn't have signed him.
We had him on the book while waiting for trial. For me it was a mistake to touch him with a lucky stick.
So as you say we signed him on loan because we weren't sure of an innocent verdict. It was an error... but hopefully a one off.
Innocent until proven guilty..........?
I don't get why people always come out with this shit. You're innocent until proven guilty for judicial punishment purposes. You can still be sacked / disciplined / suspended whether your convicted or not for bringing your employer into disrepute.
And being found Not Guilty doesn't necessarily mean you didn't do it.
