Exactly what I was thinking. If so, it's certain VDV will leave, but I reckon given Dzagoev's performances for Russia (proven at the top international level I suppose, despite playing Poland, Greece and Czech Republic..) Gylfi will be second choice. Game on for Liverpool

Very doubtful Dzagoev would go to Spurs. Too expensive and will want champions league footy, probably thought up by the same fool journalist who wrote the "Spurs stars queing up leave Tottenham once AVB gets appointed" nonsense, then listed King, Gallas, Gomes, Dos Santos, Bentley and Pienaar as the Spurs "stars" leaving.

How do you know that it's got nothing to do with Reading? You suppose that it hasn't, and maybe you are ITK and know that for certain. We have 'made our interest known', along with Liverpool and Spurs as did Swansea. Swansea have pulled put, as Spurs probably will if they sign that Russian midfielder, but I've seen nothing to suggest that our interest has waned.

My guess is that Liverpool have the best chance of signing him, where he will have to take his chances of getting first team football behind Suarez and Gerrard, and where he will have to tolerate the 'he's not big enough for us' cries from the bindippers.

Of all the two clubs to be heavily linked with one of my favourite Reading players, it just has to be Liverpool and Spurs.

As much as it'd be amazing to see him play for Reading again, I don't think he'd see it as the right move for him unfortunately so I won't be getting any hopes up. (Would love him at Newcastle!)

As I said a few pages back, if he goes to Spurs, it is purely for the money. That is probably due to his bl**dy agent trying to force his hand.

I guess he really wants to join up with Brendan at Liverpool but maybe worried he may end up as a bench warmer.

Whether he is even thinking about coming back to us is anyone's guess, personally I doubt it and if he did it would probably mean us building a team around him so maybe not for the best.
