I would pick 2 and go for a central midfield pairing of Harper and Sidwell. The two were perfect for each other and neither has pulled up any trees since that partnership was broken.

There was a period of about two seasons when Murty was untouchable, unfortunately age caught up with him the next year.
I think that if he had been more lucky with injuries early on in his career he would have been able to reach this level of performance earlier.

He was technically the worst player of our 106 team. But at least he tried hard...

But Doyle, Ingimarsson, Sidwell, Harper, Little, Hunt, Shorey, Hahnemann or Seol would all be good players to have available.

With a blank slate probably Sidwell. To fill holes on this team, probably Doyle, '05 Kitson considering '06 injuries, or '06-version Shorey. Would probably have to say Doyle, considering his ability to score scrappy goals. Judging by Pog's goals at Fulham he likely has the same ability, but two strikers of that type would help.
