Wimb Could actually see Roberts going, his contract is up in the summer, he's been riddled with injuries and he'll be 35 in January.

He can still do a job but with him hitting 36 next season would they want to commit a squad place if they can get someone younger with more long term potential?

Worrying thing is that on our day he is our best striker in terms of physicality and ability to open teams up.

Massive no thanks to Jérémie Aliadière. Useless at this level, but ideal in the Championship which I'm sure his ego wouldn't allow him to drop to.

1 Church, Simon Richard
2 Cummings, Shaun Michael
3 Gunter, Christopher Ross
4 Guthrie, Danny Sean
5 Harte, Ian Patrick
6 Karacan, Jem Paul
7 Le Fondre, Adam James
8 Leigertwood, Mikele Benjamin
9 McAnuff, Joel Joshua Frederick Me
10 McCarthy, Alex Simon
11 McCleary, Garath James
12 Mariappa, Adrian Joseph
13 Pearce, Alexander James
14 Roberts, Jason Andre Davis
15 Robson-Kanu, Thomas Hal
16 Shorey, Nicholas
17 Tabb, Jay Anthony
18 Taylor, Stuart James
19 Andersen, Mikkel
20 Federici, Adam Jay
21 Gorkss, Kaspars
22 Gunnarsson, Brynjar Bjorn
23 Hunt, Noel
24 Kebe, Jimmy
25 Pogrebnyak, Pavel Viktorovich

Tough to find too much to cut from that, though Bryn and Church look the obvious two. Also probably cut McCarthy as he's likely to be out for the season and if it got desperate they could cut Taylor/Andersen and go with Henly as the third choice.

Get the feeling that we are going to get in more untried rubbish again. Bm seems to be rulling out Arshavin too!! we need experienced quality of his ilk plus huddlestone at least plus a few risky ones.

Our squad is woefully short in most areas! AZ said on MOTD that money was not a problem! Spend then or we are down. 1 win in first half of season with a further 7 more
Minimum needed plus draws in the second half. Wake up..stop being pathetic rfc!

Pog has to go, not sure I can support anyone with a middle name like that...

More than likely. I doubt anyone will want church though with his poor performance at huddersfield.

Can still take him out of the 25 even if we can't sell him.

The sun says we are attempting to hijack qpr's attempt to sign joe cole.

We are offering lower wages but a longer contract apparently.

The Times thinks we are planning to release Tabb and Guthrie. I am intrigued to know where that comes from.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Guthrie either go this window or be dropped for one of the newbies, and the calamitous Leigertwood continue in midfield. I don't think Brian forgives and forgets this easily. He's under pressure and knows he needs Guthrie at the moment.

44.8% pass competition from Leigertwood suggests he was by far the worst.

The match commentary on the stream today said he was our man of the match / best player out there against West Ham (can't remember exactly what was said, but words to those effect)
