I'd expect to see a left sided centre half and a playmaker

One of the few posters on this abhorrent subforum to legitimately pique my interest.

Can you extrapolate at all?

Makes sense. We enquired about Upson in December.

Doyle, afaik, hasn't been that bad. But he plays for a team of donkeys playing donkey football, gets zero chances, no service, if Solbakken was there he could have a fair chance of getting some service, but now they went down the donkey path because they didn't have patience, they'll probably play Karl henry until he's 60 years old, just to make sure they get maximum donkey potential.

Wouldn't be keen on that one at all but if BM is after a striker, you just know he'll be interested. If we do go for him I hope we don't pay more than a million for him. I'd rather take SEB off their hands.

Obviously needs to come here then and flourish with the ones of crosses we put into the box per game.

I still think Bjorn Sigurdarson could, with a year or two, be a very good player.

Solbakken signed some good ones, Bakary Sako, Sigurdarson and Tongo Doumbio are all good players. Especially Sako!

Sako looks like a great player!

Maybe a step back up to the PL is what Doyle needs?

Can't imagine he will be that much now £2 million at best probably?

Sorry, but averages approximately 1 goal in 5 games for Wolves, and has not exactl set the Chump alight.

I think we got the best years from Doyle, as he has either lost a bit of pace/spark or oppostion players know how to play him now. He is simply not the player he was.

Doyle couldn't score for shit in virtually every season he's played in that even vaguely flirted with relegation. He hasn't scored a decent number of goals in a season for years. He would not be a good signing for us these days. His experience with Wolves may well have ruined him.

Hopefully todays win will make us slightly more attractive to potential signings. Certainly not favorites for relegation any more.

Yep, hopefully Villa will drop 3 points at WBA later… fantastic win, couldn't have come at a better time, hopefully it'll tip the balance in terms of attracting new blood in the window
