Keeping with the kids theme, what's the right age to take a young un to a game?

my Dad took me to Elm park when i was 5(i think it was that age), i took my eldest to her first game against Watford at home 2007 and stayed at the hotel that day. My youngest is 3 now and is ready to cheer on her team

My six year old has been going since he was 2, my 4 year old since she was 3 - both were carried through the turnstiles and sat on my lap when they were little. In fairness, we're talking about the rarefied atmosphere of the Upper West, so the worst that could happen is they get hit by a prawn sandwich.....

I've been being taken down anywhere in east since 2000, my first game in Y25/26 would've been when I was 6 in 2002, my sister's always experienced Y20, but only since 2007 so nothing much exciting to happen there.

After the latest performances and the Clubs activity yesterday, I would be very surprised if there are more than 1000 people there.

Unfortunately this clashes with the Sonning Village Show so I'll be unable to attend.

If there was word that some youngsters would definitely get a go - Ugwu, Samuel, Griffin and a couple of D'Ath, Taylor and Tshibola - then I'd probably go.

In addition, a number of young players will be given their chance to impress in the squad, and Irish youth international Shane Griffin could play at left back, with Adkins due to pick his team later this week.

The boss is mixing players from our u21s squad into training this week, so the likes of Jordan Obita, Jake Taylor, Lawson D'Ath, Dominic Samuel and Gozie Ugwu also await the manager's call.

Posted that after reading the article, what I meant is that it sounds like only Griffin has a guarrantee. I'll probably cave and go anyway.

I shall be going in order to fill the 2 week gap until the next game.

I did once see Oman vs Yemen in a World Cup Qualifer a few years back so I am looking forward to this one! Obscure game, but great atmosphere!

Adkins has been mixing young players into training so we could see what Samuel and/or Ugwu can do in a senior side.

Griffin is our only left back as Bridge is injured and Cummings away, not sure on the Kelly situation.

Was meant to be away with ROI but pulled out of that so presumably wouldn't be available for us either.
