Will95 People need to just let people enjoy themselves. In thousands of uses there's been very few incidents, the FA's, government and others need to realise this. Piss off to some other part of the ground if you don't like it.

There's been very few incidents but there have still been incidents. It's childish behaviour that can be seriously dangerous. People should be forced to move out of their seats if someone lets a flare off.

Almost everything has some incidents, that's a non-argument, unless we all just live in sterilised bubbles.

Some of the turnstiles at Old Trafford have signs saying "Pyrotechnic Sniffer Dogs in Operation" (or something like that). These dogs also appear to be invisible and they clearly missed the big fireworks on the pitch last weekend.

Enjoy themselves breaking ground regulations more like? I'd rather my view wasn't blocked by a cloud of smoke, and I wouldn't want distressed children or those with breathing difficulties to be affected either. Pyro adds nothing, it's a football game not a bloody fireworks show.

But it's something so manageable. All you need is to not set off a boiling hot stick of fire that serves no purpose other than trying to look cool. What's your view on clap banners? They're another way of artificially trying to improve the atmosphere.

'Greed. It's one thing telling people to sit down or be quiet, but saying no to letting morons fill people's eyes and lungs indiscriminately with smoke that adds nothing of any benefit to the atmosphere is pretty reasonable imo.

They were bleating about this on BBC Breakfast yesterday. Really not bothered either way. If one never gets let off again then great, but if one goes off (like at Yeovil) it'd probably be more memorable than the 'brand of football' we've been served up this season.

I agree with you sentiment Winch (and though I love a bit of Pyro in Germany it's not really part of the culture in the UK) but surely you of all people can't criticise someone breaking the rules for fun whilst simultaneously marginally increasing the danger to other people.

Will95 I don't do it as I love to travel and watch the football and wouldn't risk these things by doing it, but if it was legal would I? Occasionally yes, and I believe people should have the freedom to have that choice.

Also, 6-year bans for pyro, 3-year bans for racism, please, explain this to me?

The freedom to have the choice to put others at risk? I have pretty serious asthma - I'm not being a prude but I wouldn't want to have to spend the game worrying about a potential asthma attack rather than enjoying it - as I do presently.

Sums it up pretty nicely. Definitely not worth the risk at all.
