Apparently deals are in place for 67 of those houses, last four will probably be compulsory purchased by the council. Looking to open in time for 2016/17 season.

AFAIK this announcement has been made only after that process has been completed, or nearly completed. It's taken 3 years to buy all the houses they need to for this. Will supposedly be ready for 2016-17.

Not sure I have much faith in City to be the ones to do it, Palace is a difficult place to go these days (edit - scratch that bit) and their record on Merseyside is poor.

It's relatively simple in all honesty. Those of us who dislike Liverpool would rather City win the league. Annoying Silver Fox, Victor & various others is just a happy bonus from today's glorious set of results.

What's wrong with City?

Good club who have gone through a lot, good fans who don't seem to have let all the money that has come into their club in the last 5 or 6 years get into their heads and are outshining their arrogant neighbours who have constantly looked down their noses at them.

Not forgetting their big name and well paid players who rarely appear in the media, especially since Balotelli left, for anything other than football. How many times have you seen Kompany in court or giving someone a whack because they didn't pick a certain song?

Don't disagree with that- their fans know what it is like to see their club in the 3rd tier and they must be in blue heaven since the big money arrived and at long last they could compete with the spending power of their neighbours.
