No Fixed Abode I am not sure just having a plan A is 'tactically obliterating' to be fair.

He has been praised constantly for tweaking his formation/personnel a little game-by-game. The wins against Spurs, Arsenal, Everton and United examples of this.

He's not perfect. Nor is any manager. Tbh I just read some pretty obvious anti-Brendan bias in TB's post. To describe the guy as 'tactically naive' is no more accruate than describing Mourinho (or Rodgers for that matter) as 'humble'.

He's found himself in the last stages of a league campaign with a pretty average defense. The time to remedy that was January, at the latest. If memory serves, he chose to do nothing.

That's not tactics, is it?

If everyone played the same way, the league would be shit.

Any chance that rather thick set chap on the gif saying "I don't believe it" is Victor?

It's a shame about the narrow camera shot and PL logos, as there are two perfect gifs in there - bloke second right at the top, doesn't move at all; and guy in blue top, with a perfect stare and head-shake.

In fact you could cut that up into about 10 usable gifs.

I'm glad Brendan isn't going to win the league. Not because of any historical resentment relating to his time with us, but more because of the fact that he's an utter c0ck.

The David Brent-esque fly on the wall documentary, leaving his missus and kids for the first ropey little sl@g at the club to throw herself at him - the whole shebang.

I actually quite like the City manager - seems a reasonable bloke.

was absolutely delighted (after being slightly confused) to read that Liverpool's title hopes were dashed. Turned off at 3-0 only just found out they drew

Sakho + Skrtel = £24.5m
Terry + Cahill = £7m

Basically, Terry came through the youth team. I did not know that.

Your grandmother went to market and bought Carroll, Aquilani and Adam

but there seemed little point winning 3-1 or 3-2 as it would still mean City having to lose one of their last 2 games for Liverpool to win the title and we all know that they won't lose .

... but they could have drawn?

Presumably you mean City might draw and if so that is the coward's way out in hoping that another team might slip up.
Rodgers went for the big win and failed but over the season he has done very little wrong with a squad weaker than most of their competitors.

Papes,

Of course they could but it is a negative way of looking at things whereas Rodgers tends to take the positive attacking approach.
He tried to win the championship which in my eyes is so much better than hoping and praying that somebody else might fail.
