looking at the squad i have to say even though i am usually positive it is quite depressing to look at this squad. it truly has to be the worst squad we have fielded in recent years...

karacan, guthrie, williams, mackie, ferdinand, etc etc cannot come back quickly enough.

If Guthrie is indeed injured, that is the only choice and our entire outfield bench will have about 2-3 first team appearances between them.

Given our track record for players, firstly, getting injured and, secondly, not coming back within the timescales expected, that is frightening.

Suspect you won't be far wrong there. Looking forward to seeing Hector provide us with a better balance at CB. Personally I would take the plunge, and give Kuhl his debut if Guthrie is unfit - in the long term, he could be the real deal as a specialist CM, and I think his passing would complement Akpan's strength and running.

I'd very happily see Kuhl or Tshibola start.
