What if he doesn't agree personal terms?
Are they covered in the loan agreement with Palace?

Quite. The deal could easily get hijacked by another club buying the player's loyalty if he does come good with us.

MouldyRoyal If we have a legal option, they'd have to buy us out of that, so at least they'd be giving us a bit of cash.

MmmMonsterMunch This thread has gone rapidly downhill with pages & pages of waffle about the in's & out's of this loan deal rather than people being happy about getting a striker that might actually score.

There are no "knowns." There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns.
There are things we do not know we don't know.

Quite. The deal could easily get hijacked by another club buying the player's loyalty if he does come good with us.
In these types of deals it is normally a part of the loan contract that it automatically becomes a permanent deal on a certain date (the end of the loan ) unless we pull the plug. Neither Murray or Palace can do anything about it and another club can't hijack it either. I would be very surprised if it was structured any other way.
The fee has already been agreed and put in the contract and Murray will have already agreed personal terms.

RoyalBlue Point taken and, if it has been structured this way (I'm not entirely sure an agent would be happy with a deal where his player is tied down but the 'signing' club can still walk away from the deal if they don't regard him as having met the criteria, particularly given what happened with Salako), all should be fine. That is, of course, unless the player decides to adopt the 'strike' tactic favoured by one of our past stars.
TBM Not so sure
“When it comes to January it will be down to the clubs and then I will make my decision on the back of that. But I can’t see why it couldn’t be permanent,” he said.
