Those players are not playing for him! In almost 2 years they've mustered what one or two wins after going behind?

To me it seems clear he has lost the dressing room so I don't get why the board don't just bloody sack him now...Why let him do more damage? Each game lost is another ticked off. The opposition matters not these days, we fcuk all the games up.

If RFC set up a justgiving page to pay him off I'll happily donate.

That's the only reason I can think of as to why he hasn't already gone.

I am sure we'd all agree that with mystery new owners already making excuses and absolving themselves of any responsibility via message on Facebook in broken English and with the team displaying relegation form and conceding poor goals in every game (Alex Pearce was POTS when we won the title of this league under the previous management, what have Adkins and Crosby done with him?) we're going to do well to stay up this season.

Looking at the few teams below us in the table I'd say there are a number with a good chance of finishing well above us in the final reckoning. Wigan have a chink of hope and are Jew a few wins now they have MacKay, they have a strong squad for this league. Fulham have plenty of quality and you'd expect themselves to pull out of it. Brighton I'd expect the same. Bolton and Rotherham have managers who are frankly a nasty piece of work, exactly the sort of calibre we could do with at Reading.

Of the sides below us, I expect Huddersfield, Leeds, Millwall, Birmingham and Blackpool to join us in the bottom 6. We will need some help elsewhere; Huddersfield currently drawing at home. Leeds away to Blackburn today, a side in good form. Blackpool vs Bolton and Charlton vs Millwall represents two derby games. Rotherham face Birmingham. I have some hope that another damaging defeat yesterday might be negated somewhat today by some positive results for us at the bottom.

The initial responses to this thread were questioning floyds sanity. Three points off the bottom three and terrible form means we'll almost certainly be within sniffing distance by the new year, if we keep the orange twat in charge.
Our form is awful, 3rd worst defensive record in the division, unable to bounce back in games. Players publicly questioning his decisions.

I don't think we're in a relegation fight but we're probably at a crucial point of the season, a gap is starting to emerge between 12th and 13th, if we want to be in the top half of the league we'll ideally need to put a few results together or be cut away into the bottom half.

I would always find it more secure to be in the top half of the league, otherwise you're constantly looking over your shoulder. I would imagine being higher up the league is better as a team as you can always have a positive look up at the playoffs, with outside hopes of getting there.

I agree with this. I'd also like to point out we played Bournemouth off the park in the first half at Dean Court but defending let us down in the second and they seized their chances.

I think the above shows that after 18 games McDermott was in a far greater position than Adkins is now.
