Always wanted to know why we're the only club to kill any remote sign of atmosphere by threatening to evict or even ban home fans for standing yet do nothing about away fans doing the same. Go away and it's the complete opposite.

I was nearly ejected the year we went up at the Forest game at home for over exuberance after Leigertwood had scored. oxf*rd useless stewards.

Don't know where this ejection happened but there is no issue from stewards in East Stand. Many people stand each game and I have stood every game this season and no one says a thing

If anyone is in the slightest bit interested, that 3rd home defeat on the spin is the 16th time that has happened in League and Cup matches since we joined the Football League in 1920. We have only had 4 succesoive home defeats twice (Feb-1954 and May-1989, both all league matches), with a solitary 5 defeats on the spin in the PL culminating in Feb-2008, (included one FAC defeat).

In 1989 we only missed relegtion thanks to a last day 4-2 win at Chesterfield after being 2-0 down at h/t. We lost a total of 9 home league and cup games that season. In 1954 we actually managed to finish 8th in Div3(s), mainly becasue we only lost a total of 6 matches at home all season.

In 2007/8, we lost a total of 11 league and cup games and were relegated from the PL.

Our next two home matches are Brighton, (Tues 10th March after a possible humiliation at Bradford in the FACqf), and Birmingham (Tuesday 17th March).

Given our "performances" generally on Tuesday noight games, I wonder what odds one could get for equally our record of 5 consecutive home defeats?

If you are not interested, them do please ignore.

It was in Y19. I would much rather that ejected the amateur who chose the music before the start of the game. That really did make me want to swear.

Can someone tell me what the point of Chalobah is?

Loses the ball more than all the others put together, slows down all attacks and his passing is dross

P!ssed Off Disgraceful stewarding.

Thrown out for bad language and persistent standing which caused people to complain apparently. So if everyone writes to the club and complains about the bad language and standing up from the Forest fans during the whole game then the club will not let them have an allocation and the away end will be empty when we play them next season.

I'm not surprised about this happening from the club with the family stand, 2 (two) mascots (male and female to be utterly PC), shirt megablaster, cringy goal music and BACK THE BOYS!!!! *shudder*

The number of times I've been told to sit down by the people behind me when there are 20+ rows of fans in front of me stood up this season is incredible. No, I won't sit down you wrinkly faced CUNT

Exactly. So if anyone is really worried about their kids hearing nasty words (I suggest they don't let them watch TV) then why don't they make sure that they sit in the family stand!

That having been said. I suspect that the swearing may have been a reaction to the usual club heavy handedness in relation to standing. Despite all of the crap that the club repeatedly dish out to STAR about it being too dangerous to tackle standing amongst the away support, it comes down to this: Either standing is really dangerous and therefore a ban should be rigourously enforced throughout the stadium or it is not that dangerous i.e. less dangerous than telling away supporters to sit and therefore the same level of tolerance should be shown towards home and away support.

Out of interest, I know that the LI fans are allowed to drink in the bowl but are they allowed to stand too? If so, how come rugby fans standing whilst drinking is less dangerous than football supporters standing?

I've been taken into the concourse and warned for 'shouting too loudly'! Useless club. Clive Doyle is a ****

What sort of parent tried to protect their little bundle of joy from all the nasty swearing.

It's this sort of cotton wool parenting that does my fukiiing head in.

"Oh no you nasty man, my little Sophie can hear you swearing"

According to Clarke that is because of the state of the Mad Stad pitch and isn't a problem away from home. So, if true, why pick him for home games you idiot?!

Clarke is doing no better than Adkins.

Video on FB of the guy being thrown out. Looks to be an older man standing up singing with the whole stand "stand up for the blue and whites" I think anyway

I wasn't too far away from it and the guy was doing a decent job of creating an atmosphere today. The steward in front of me was slating the stewards who were dealing with him but reserved his biggest criticisms for the head steward and he used a few choice words to describe him.

It's a real shame as it was great hearing some noise from North East Corner.

Even if they used the big fluffy lion people... It still got some people making noise.

Yes, these two guys managed to get some reaction from the crowd and created some atmosphere. The tango twats then decided to eject them from the ground but thought better of it when the guys in question received a huge vocal support from hundreds of fans in both the east and north stands. Instead they waited until half time and got them when they went for a pie and a pint. So much for back the boys and make some noise. The club won't be happy about this.....they should have waited until after they had bought their half time refreshment before kicking them out...wasted revenue.

Think we should wind the stewards up by each section ALL standing (in turn)
ie Y19 all stand, stewards come over, they all sit, Y21 stands, etc

Indeed there was actually some atmosphere for a change. And it coincided with our best (only) spell of the game. So they stopped it.

What a bunch of pricks.
