Forbury Lion At least women's football adheres to the same rules as the men's, unlike tennis where they play 2/5ths less sets than the men. I wonder if this is to help get the womens game over and done with so that there is more time for the men to play?

That's only for the majors though.

I've been surprised and impressed by the general standard of the World Cup so far and can't wait to see a Reading player play for England against one of the best teams in Women's World Football tonight.

+1

are we really one of the best teams, though? We've about as much chance of winning it as the mens team.

England played well against a team ranked 3rd in the world. We haven't beaten them since 1974, so it was a decent performance. We defended well (apart from the goal obvs) but didn't look like creating anything. Fran had a half chance in the final moments, but rather snatched at it. Hopefully she'll get a decent oppourtunity in the next two group games. We can't be that defensive in those!

I think it's a valid question. What if they become on during the game? would the game have to be stopped while the injury is dealt with?

Also, do the woman's team have a kit man or, as expected, do they do their own washing and ironing?

These are questions that need to be answered.

There was nothing wrong with his comment, it's a valid question. Keep your PC nonsense to yourself.
