Forbury Lion My concern over Clarke going is the thought of a worse replacement, plus the fact 16 games ago he sacked the entire backroom staff and bought his loyal team in who will no doubt jump ship, either now or in the near future him leaving us with no manager and no coaches and possibly no money in the kitty.
He's got the best out of Blackman at this level, maybe Blackman will follow him to Fulham? Maybe Vydra will move there when his loan with us is up? (not sure that will make much of a difference to be honest).
Fulham being right next to Chelsea and losing Clarke to them would see an end to us signing their younger players on loan.

I'm not too bothered about losing the Chelsea loan link - i'd much rather the new man brings in players on a full term basis, and build the team into a decent Championshop side. Imagine if we do get promoted this season - 6 of our players won't be here - we would get destroyed.

we have options to buy on many of them though, and if we got promoted, that money would be available

No Fixed Abode He turned Nick Blackman from someone who wouldn't get on the bench for Twyford Comets to someone with Premier League potential. That deserves some praise.

Dr_Hfuhruhurr Mainly because he's just bought a ton of players in, and I would prefer that the next manager has at least some say in the squad set up.

Coppelled_Streets Apparently Steve Clarke doesn't appear in the official match preview for Saturday.
