Your complacency is dangerous.
A simple admin error could see them awarded points for scoring 4 tries, or scoring 200 in their first innings. Maybe even Richard Osman would misallocate the reward for getting a Pointless answer...

Nameless Good news is that if they get 106 as well we retain the record. They currently have a goal difference of 32 compared to ours which ended as 67.
Actually quite an interesting comparison, that's a fairly big difference which suggests that we won our games rather more convincingly than they have been doing.

Winning matches by three goals or more on ten different occasions certainly helped:-

PNE (a) 3-0
Millwall (h) 5-0
Ipswich (a) 3-0
Luton (h) 3-0
Brighton (h) 5-1
Cardiff (h) 5-1
Norwich (h) 4-0
Burnley (a) 3-0
Derby (h) 5-0
Cardiff (a) 5-2

Those ten matches are +37 just by themselves.

And of course our negatives from ALL league games that season was a grand total of -2  Otherwise our GD at worst just didn't go up.

Goes to show just how difficult this record is going to be to beat.

Northampton have run out of steam with the finishing line in sight - they'll still go up of course

Thoughts with Derby who also hang on to their points record for another year.
Well done lads.
