I think someone has tried to explain why we are tinpot and Brighton are massive.

The slight difference is that we are a once-large-ish club that fell on hard times but have since come back, whereas they were a traditionally small club who suddenly acquired a lot of new fans with new scarves. And will always struggle to fill all those blue plastic seats because the traditional fan base simply isn't there.

I like the way they all think he doesn't know their history, when he specifically says they should remember their roots.

Personally I agree, I'd expect a club that's gone through so much with fans that fought so hard to keep it going might have a bit more class and show a slightly bigger degree of humbleness rather than being so up their own arses at their (very) recent success, largely achieved through a sugar daddy finally coming along.


We weren't like this in 2005/6 were we? We've got a bit more up ourselves in the last 10 years certainly, but nowhere near as bad as them.

Predicted this would be their opinion of him. Tbf to them the tackle was a shocker, premeditated, designed to maim. I was indeed surprised only a yellow was shown, but what their lot fail to recall is the crafty dig of the elbow into Kermogant's face from Rosenior 30 seconds or so beforehand. The classic retribution challenge.
