I'm gonna run mine anyway, but it's entirely different to your in that it's not just pulling a name out of a hat. So i don't see why they can't run happily side by side.
How mine will run - just as i've done the golf ones for 2/3 years
Pick 2 Teams from each pot (4 pots decided by seeding/odds)
Scores will be based on finishing position in the World Cup
Winner - 0 points
Second - 3 points
Third - 6 points
Fourth - 8 points
Losing Q/F - 16 points
Losing R32 - 32 points
Losing Group Round - 64 points
A point will be taken off for each goal scored and added for each conceded at all stages. Normal and extra time both count.
1 point added for each yellow card, 3 points added for each red card
Eg - A team getting knocked out in the Q/F with an overall goal difference of +3, 4 yellows and 1 red would get 20 points
Lowest points total wins.
