Royals and Racers Ascot offering free entry to RFC season ticket holders for the home game on Saturday against Wembley.

Windsor offering free entry to fans wearing Reading, Brentford, Fulham, QPR, Chelsea etc. shirts.

(It’s the Windsor fans who deserve free entry after the shit show on display for the last few months.)

...as is Basingstoke's incredible sequence of wins ending today with a 0-1 defeat @ Winklebury by Hanworth - crowd over 1k too.
W&H took advantage with a 3-1 win @ Uxbridge - now just a point behind.

More ltr ......

I didn’t go but mates who did say it was another embarrassingly abysmal performance from Windsor today, losing 1-3 to Broadfields.

Doomed to relegation.

74 players have donned the shirt this season! Only about 3 have been any good and they were all short term loans.

...spotted that on my run thru of games I might have gone to this PM..... could yet get worse as Oxhey, the only side below them, won 2-0 and are in touching distance now.

I opted for a game in the CCLP South - a very decent size crowd at Fleet Town - well over 300 - were rewarded with a highly entertaining 3-3 against Tadley.

And as predicted it is Basingstoke who crack first. What a Humdinger of a game now setup for Saturday.

Basingstoke by far the better team but just could not take their chances. Hit the post, open goal header which bounced into ground and over the bar and a clear penalty towards end where referee gave a handball against Basingstoke in the build up.

Brilliant to see those numbers at a home game. It’s down to the team to respond, keep the fans coming back and help build something here including a permanent home.

Depending on what time my sons football is on Saturday, toss up between bristol and Walton to visit!

The famous YouTube team with millions of views, SE Dons of London vs Aigburth Arms of Liverpool

The other Semi Final is the brilliant named Pineapple Chunks FC of Liverpool vs St Josephs of Luton (they beat holders baiteze who beat our very own Burghfield fc)

The 2 Liverpool based teams play in the Liverpool Sunday league which is renowned as being the countries best, with alot of ex pro, current footballers there

Results from yesterday:

Saturday 25th March

NAT
Aldershot Town 2-3 Gateshead - assist for the Sh!ts opener from Pendlebury – Gateshead’s first win in five – crowd just under 2k
Boreham Wood 0-0 Eastleigh
Dorking Wanderers 3-1 Maidenhead United - att 1,978 - valuable win for Wanderers who are only three pts clear of the drop zone
Maidstone United 1-2 Woking- att 2,187 injury time winner for ‘Cards’ who stay 3rd
Wealdstone 0-2 Barnet - crowd just over 3k
- top five all win – Wrecsam stay three pts clear of ‘County’ - with a game in hand
– beat York 3-0 in front of their highest crowd this season 10,161
– top two are 23 pts clear of Woking and they have identical GD +65 – County on 101 goals: Parky’s mob one less.
– On ‘NON-LEAGUE Day’ Notts Co pulled in a massive 16,086 for their 4-0 romp past poor Scunny their 2nd highest gate this term and according to Beeb only one EFL game had more today.
Macaulay Langstaff notched his 39th goal too.

NATN
Banbury United 1-2 AFC Telford United – ‘Puritans’ bright start at this level beginning to fade badly in the last third of the season. Lost here to the rock-bottom side
- have gained only 3 points from three draws, in their last 9 games and are sinking fast towards the relegation zone.

Spennymoor Town 1-1 Brackley Town ‘Saints’ currently none too good either - only mid-lower table on recent form and hanging on rather in the top 6. Long delay as a spectator was attended to in the crowd – resulted in 20 plus mins added time.

NATS
Dulwich Hamlet 2-2 Oxford City –att 3,334 late goals see City stay 3rd
– 2nd placed ‘Darts’ lose at home to 4th placed Chelmsford
– leaders Ebbsfleet, winners on TV earlier at Arbour Pk, are a massive 21 points clear- should be crowned champions in the next couple of games.

Hampton & Richmond Borough 0-1 Farnborough - 'boro’ making a late bid for the PO spots - two points off StAlebuns in 7th – with Worthing and Braintree currently making up the other slots.
Slough Town 0-1 Ebbsfleet United – at the other end ‘Rebels’ look in some bother now – especially with wins for Cheshunt and Taunton around them. They have played more games than all bar Cheshunt in the bottom 10

Tonbridge Angels 4-3 Hungerford Town ‘Crusaders’ rapidly running out of game to save themselves - are still 5 points from safety.
– nearly effected a great comeback (no pun) from 1-4 down at H-T – two late goals within a minute of each other from sub Great Evans (recently arr. from Kingstonian – product of AFC Wimbledon youth team) , just not enough to grab a point.

SLP-C
Coalville Town 2-1 Kings Langley KL beaten at 2nd placed ‘ville – stay in the bottom four.
SLP-S
Hanwell Town 1-3 Swindon Supermarine
Hendon 1-0 Hartley Wintney - bad result for HW at relegation rivals – now 9 points behind the ‘Greens’ with only 5 games remaining.
Metropolitan Police 1-0 Chesham United
North Leigh 2-0 Weston-super-Mare as above bit of a shock here for leaders W-s-M
- though I’m pretty certain Nor Lye have recruited several new bodies in the New Year and (apart from the humbling 0-5 recently by Bracknell) are looking more likely to beat the drop on recent form - if anyone can down there. They have 5 games left and are 5 points behind Hendon.
One goal was from Conor McDonagh - whom I believe has been a very prolific striker with Oxford City Banbury , Supermarine & Didcot etc of late?

Poole Town 2-1 Hayes & Yeading United
Winchester City 4-0 Beaconsfield Town - minor shock here as ‘Rams’ had been on a good run – ‘City’ badly needed the points to keep a decent gap back to the bottom four.
Yate Town 0-2 Bracknell Town - goals from Richards and Grant either side of H/T
SL1-C
Aylesbury United 0-2 Walthamstow
Highworth Town 3-3 Kempston Rovers - 94’ leveller for ‘Worthians’
Kidlington 0-1 Biggleswade Town
Thame United 2-2 Welwyn Garden City

IL1-SC
Basingstoke Town 0-1 Hanworth Villa
Chertsey Town 1-0 Sutton Common Rovers
Chipstead 2-1 Bedfont Sports
Leatherhead 2-0 Thatcham Town
Marlow
2-0 Tooting & Mitcham United
Merstham 0-2 Binfield
Northwood 2-1 Westfield
South Park 1-0 Ashford Town (Middx)
Uxbridge 1-3 Walton & Hersham - being reported on the Pitching In official league site for the Isthmian, that W&H striker Eddie Simon, is the first player in the top 8 levels of English football to score 4 successive hat-tricks
https://www.isthmian.co.uk/hat-trick-ed ... e-ga-75339

Guernsey host Southall this PM (Sun 14:00)

CCL-PN
Ascot United 2-2 Wembley - att 138
Burnham 1-0 Virginia Water - att 151
Chalfont St Peter 1-2 North Greenford United
Harefield United 2-0 Wokingham & Emmbrook
Oxhey Jets 2-0 Hilltop
Reading City 2-2 Wallingford & Crowmarsh - att originally reported by FA FullTime at a mind-boggling 2,100  – if true ….. that must have been a sight – I’m rather assuming they’ve just added a ‘0’ on the end – no mention of it on the ‘Cityzens’ twitterings??! !
EDIT - have now seen it amended to a more plausible 164 8)
-City led 2-0 at half-way, but like Ascot above them, dropped points W&C leveller timed at 93’.

Spelthorne Sports 3-0 London Lions
Windsor 1-3 Broadfields United
CCL-PS
Abbey Rangers 0-2 Badshot Lea
Alton
3-0 Guildford City
Banstead Athletic 1-0 AFC Croydon Athletic
Farnham Town 3-2 Balham att 309
Fleet Town 3-3 Tadley Calleva att 325
- as above went to this – two very early goals for Calleva but Fleet battled hard and were level by H/T and led early 2nd half. Both sides pressed hard and Tadley deservedly shared the spoils with a good finish on around 75’

Horley Town {EIGHT} 8-0 Frimley Green
Jersey Bulls 2-0 Colliers Wood United att 555
Knaphill 1-0 Cobham
Raynes Park Vale 3-2 Redhill att 195
Sheerwater 1-4 Camberley Town
CCL-1
Bedfont 6-2 Cove
Berks County
1-0 Spartans Youth - County 2nd on GD from Langley – both sit 4 pts behind leaders Depor with 2 games in hand
Eversley & California 2-0 Molesey
FC Deportivo Galicia 0-2 Rising Ballers Kensington - leaders beaten by 5th place RBK
London Samurai Rovers 4-1 Woodley United
Westside 4-1 Bagshot

HELL- P
Chipping Sodbury Town 2-4 Wantage Town
Cribbs 3-1 Royal Wootton Bassett Town
Thornbury Town 1-1 Shrivenham
- Top two almost certain to be Cribbs and Malvern in this division - the Bristol club have a lead of 2 pts and have played a game less.
- Ascot’s Vase opponents next week Corsham, could in theory catch-up in their 9 remaining games.

HELL-1
Friday Night Abingdon United 3-1 Milton Utd - att 421 - huge turn-out for a big derby night at Northcourt - sees Ab Utd rather derail Miton's bid for top two

Long Crendon 2-3 Clanfield 85
- I believe Ciren. Town ‘Dev’ may be the only club in the top 6 STEPS without a win – and it didn’t change on Sat with the youngsters going down 10-1 at promotion chasing Hartpury Uni.
The have 2 games left to avoid the unwanted tag of no wins - both away at Moreton & Cheltenham Sarries – they do have 2 pts
- There is some concern should they continue next season, as to where they would drop to – most likely into ‘non-feeder league’ Hellenic 2 divisions.

SSM-P
Risborough Rangers 5-0 Leverstock Green
Tring Athletic 2-1 Aylesbury Vale Dynamos att 172
SSM-1
Amersham Town 2-1 Burton Park Wanderers
Holmer Green 1-3 Rushden & Higham United
Raunds Town 3-3 Thame United Reserves
Rugby Borough 3-3 London Tigers

WESS-P
Alresford Town 1-2 Blackfield & Langley
- leaders AFC Portchester win 1-0 at Lav. & Ford (Salisbury) in front of 298
– 2nd placed Stoneham beaten 0-1 at home by Horndean in 3rd - att 237

WESS-1
Petersfield Town 1-1 Andover New Street att 308 ANS stay top
Verwood Town 5-0 Fleet Spurs
Whitchurch United
2-3 Totton & Eling

Thank you

The SE Dons lost 2-1, missed an open goal but the Aigburth Arms defended brilliantly and were under the cosh for the game

very very very good level of football, a lot of players playing for teams at Ishtmian league level or higher, 2 played conference south last season or northern league level (not sure what the equivalent is up there)

one of their players is Zak Ansah formally of Arsenals 1st team and they basically sold out 5 sections of sixfields which is insane for Sunday league

St Josephs of Luton beat Pineapple Chunk fc 3-1, and are actually the most successful team in the FA Sunday Cup in terms of finals (7 times with 2 wins) and they have a lot of players who play in the Southern league

the lost 1-0 in the final a few years ago due to an Elliot Nevitt goal who now plays for Tranmere

W&H's Eddie Simon is currently on a run of 4 consecutive league hat-tricks. The first time a player in one of England's top 8 divisions has ever done that
