This feels very much like a Kia signing.

Got the same agent as Tom McIntyre.

Cheap and available. Not sure what to make of him but I suppose you don't spend 6 years at United if you're completely shit unless your name is Phil Jones.

Seems like a definite step up from Bouzanis though who should be relegated to No.2 again as well.

Need a keeper/sweeper which I presume he can do and is why he's about to sign.

Played 3 games in the FL for Rochdale and Huddersfield. Unknown quantity presumably to all but followers of ManU reserves.

Can't be worse than the last Portuguese keeper can he?

What happened to Andresson and why is CBC anywhere near being an injury from being between the sticks?

I do remember at one stage or another last season you were saying we should be using keepers like CBC instead of players like Lumley...

Either way, either Andresson isn't ready or just isn't very good and the latter needs a couple of loan spells away first before being ready.

We should be fine with this lad and Bouzanis I expect.

No, I said we should he using keepers like Andresson and Southwood. Which is why I'm asking where Andresson is.

I've seen CBC play twice and he's had two absolute shockers. There is no way he should be on the bench ahead of Andresson. He's got a lot of development to do before he should be that close to the pitch again.

Or maybe it's an indicator of where Andresson really is. Who knows.

Doesn't look like Pereira has had a lot of games in his career.

Not unusual for a keeper heading to a club at our level though.

This. Goalkeepers need to be first choice to get any serious game time. He appears to have been the main backup at RKC Waalwijk last season who finished 9th in the Eredivisie last season (and 10th the season prior). That suggests he’s likely to be better than our current options.

He had a 20 game spell on loan to Hearts and, by his own admission, had a bit of a shocker.

Apparently in January 2019 but we ended up with some bloke called Martinez instead. Whatever happened to him?

He's been a perennial #2 hence the lack of apps but at 27 is a good age and seems to be willing to step down a level to finally be a #1.

We also want a ball playing keeper and he fits the bill there. Bound to be a rick or two but he's had a decent education and may just need a run of games. Intriguing pick.

Dunno seemed alright though. Maybe we should go in for him again.

Wouldn’t really call a move from RKC Waalwijk as that much of down a level.

Yes, they're in the eesrste divisie which is the second division in Dutchland and Waalwijk only managed 18th out of the 20 clubs so hardly going to be much of a step down if any (and maybe in terms of league profile (and certainly in terms of attendances) it might be a step up).
