Snowflake Royal In terms of their responsibility to their viewership, it actually makes entirely perfect sense to do all the top flight leagues they cover before they do any lower ones.

Scotland and women aren't second rate viewers, even if their football team standards are well below the Championship.

Correct, you should do the top divisions first then the rest - I know it used to be England, Scotland, Wales, wrap up anything else but things move on.

Good. Looking forward to seeing the La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Eredivisie etc. fixtures soon appearing ahead of the FL too.

Being a semantic arse this morning I see, good work.

I clearly meant the top British (Professional) divisions - then the EFL.

After a decent start to Championship life, Oxford have lost 5 out of 6 and are now losing at home against mid table Millwall. Perhaps our paths will cross again next season.

Rumour that Villa will recall Louie Barry from Stockport in January so they can loan him to a Championship club, could really derail their promotion charge.

Today BBC Football is showing International Women's Friendlies above the Championship.

Cannot agree with that prioritisation.

Doesn’t really matter, but given most sports fans are male and the PL and FL and FA Cups generate a lot of sponsorship money you have to say the prioritisation is a little off. But then this is the “box ticking” BBC.

I’m pretty woke on most things and I approve of them prioritising birds’ football, but not friendly internationals over the Championship, or even the FA Cup second round.

Noticed Wigan completed the signing of Josh Robinson from Arsenal yesterday: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... 2lg40jvg8o

So far the only transfer involving a League One club in the January window.

Not really sure what to make of that, 20 year old, not relevant enough to even have a wikipedia page, seems like a total nobody despite being at Arsenal.

I've resorted to the football manager database because I can't think of another metric! Doesn't seem very good based on that but still a young guy so maybe they see something in him.

I imagine he's not going to be much more than a squad player for them, especially if Arsenal's willing to let him go. That BBC article says he was on the bench for four of Arsenal's Champions League games and played all three Arsenal U21 matches in the EFL Trophy.

Could simply be one Wigan are thinking has a bit of potential.

At this age and with relatively unknown players, Football Manager can be a bit hit and miss. Tyler Bindon wasn't even in the database when we signed him!

Yeah, especially considering the FM database is clearly out of date with FM25 delayed/cancelled as the latest version has him still 18 when he has just turned 20.

Blackpool's Elliot Embleton has joined Carlisle: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... vgm72l2gpo

He'd played 475 minutes for Blackpool in the league this season over fifteen matches (four starts) and only fell out of the Blackpool matchday squad in the last month. He'd only joined Blackpool on a free from Sunderland at the start of the season.

Not a surprise considering his age and where he was playing previously.

What result would we prefer in tonight's game, Wycombe vs Huddersfield? I find it hard to say because both are in ridiculously good form but I can't help but wonder if Wycombe might be affected by losing a couple of important players that were recalled from their loans. So based on that I think I'd prefer a Huddersfield win but I really don't know.

Draw probably the best overall for us -means Huddersfield remain just a win ahead (tho with bigger GD) and Wycombe move to 11 ahead but after a game more.

When 2 rivals play (and anyone in the top 8 or 9 ARE rivals now) then a draw is almost always the best result, as it means both teams drop points.

Yep, this.

A win = 3 points gained, 3 points dropped.

A draw =2 points shared, 4 points dropped.

Simples.
