Truly ****** awful performance from Liverpool, proving they do not have the quality in depth. But those Plymouth centre backs are something else. Amazing what they can do with a bit of adrenalin, really hoping they can stay up now!

Well, it doesn't prove that - the same young players (or some of them) won the Carabao Cup last year.

But, they were awful. It was very much an audition for the senior players like Elliott, Quansah, Tsimikas, Chiesa, Nunez - to show Slot that he has a selection problem when everyone is fit. With the exception of Endo (who is always superb when asked to play), they all failed miserably.

Might help them, in the long run, decide who to move on in the summer as don’t think any of the senior players on view yesterday exactly sold themselves to the manager on why they should be starting in the first XI. Can certainly see Diaz and Tsimikas going.

Might depend on Salah. I'm not sure Diaz will leave anyway - he's electric on his day, has just had far fewer of those days since his Dad's kidnapping, different player after that, perhaps understandably. But if Salah goes, Diaz stays.

The rest, yeah. Would be amazed if the Antonee Robinson rumours don't crystallise into a transfer this summer. Liverpool need a new left-back, two if/when Tsimikas leaves.

Won’t go for Robinson as their transfer policy apparently sees him as too old at 28 in August

More likely they’ll be after Kerkez and/or Hatto.

As long as it does not let Arsenal in, please God, no.

If ever a formal definition of 'limbs' is required, I think Goodison Park as Tarkowski's volley hit the net will do just fine.

Last second of the last ever Mereyside derby at Goodison Park. Football can be poetic at times.

What a beautiful chaotic ending to a game. Fans spilling onto the pitch, players fighting. Lovely stuff.

Everton excellent in second half and deserved, couldn’t help but feel the ref was a bit **** though but then it was Michael Oliver so is par for the course.

Reckon Salah might be the first ever player to win PFA Player Of The Season 3 times

He’s apparently the first top flight player, since football began in 1992, to contribute 22 away assists and goals by this stage of a season.

Crazy atmosphere last night which is presumably why Oliver let Everton play until they equalised. Still, at least it means there are fewer Arsenal accounts* on my facebook fed this morning saying refs are gifting the title to Liverpool

*why Zuckerberg why? I've never interacted with any Arsenal accounts why do you think I need to see what they ALL think?

Liverpool were never going to win last night. Everton always raise their game at home for the Derby, they're a different beast under Moyes and they were not going to leave Goodison with an L.

Don't know many Liverpool fans expecting to win it.

I don't think the time played was out of order after the clash of heads. Equation relatively simple for Liverpool. Start at 11 wins (from 14 games remaining) and take one away each time Arsenal drop points. They should get there fairly comfortably, what with Wolves, Ipswich, Southampton, West Ham, Palace, and the return fixture with Everton, all to play at Anfield. Win those six, and they should - and they'll probably only need two or three more victories from their away fixtures.

But, stranger things have happened. And as someone who does want Liverpool to win the league, last night's equaliser by Tarkowski couldn't fail to remind me of another centre-back sticking a dagger in Liverpool's title ambitions with a worldie, when Vincent Kompany scored a thunderbastard against Leicester a few years back.

Terrific send off for Goodison Park under the lights. And this Moyes chap, he's alright, isn't he?

What did Slot get sent off for? Slot came over to the ref after the game and both shook hands and the ref seemed to smile when Slot said something to him and then he suddenly got the red card out.

Doucore was a total arse starting to goad the away fans but Jones shouldn’t have gone over to smack him one even if he did deserve it - both rightfully dismissed. About the only thing the ref got right.

Oliver is the same pillock who failed to see Doku’s attempted attack on MacAllister in the Liverpool/City game last season as dangerous play and also sent off Arsenal’s Skelly at Wolves for god knows what. Think he also did United over with a screwy penalty decision v West Ham. Reckon he’s a City fan?

Not sure what Slot has supposedly said, but I dislike the way the dissent rule is so inconsistently applied. Now maybe Slot said 'fcuk you, you smug cnut'. But maybe he just said 'what the fcuk was the nine minutes for?!' and Oliver chose that moment to strictly apply the laws.

These refs spend all game getting pelters from players and then dish out red cards for seemingly very little. Didn't Van Dijk get a ban once for hurting a ref's feelings?

Sort of feel sorry for Liverpool in a way as the best ref, Jared Gillet, has said he’s supports the club so they never get the best ref
