FL fixtures are due to be published on Thursday June 26th at midday

The draws for the group stage of the Trophy and first round of the League Cup draws will follow at 2.30 & 4pm respectively on the same day.

Opening weekend of the new season will be 1/2/3/4 August and for Leagues 1 & 2 while the Championship starts on the following weekend (8/9/10/11 August). The PL starts on 15 August.

Like last year there’ll be plenty of league games on the telly.

I’ll go for a TV game away at Plymouth to open the Reading’s season. Cardiff the first home game and the season for Reading will finish away at Stevenage.

With Bindon and Coniah now gone, that currently leaves just Elliott, Savage and Garcia as internationals? Potentially Dorsett, Tiv and Tuma if they sign new contracts. O'Connor doesn't seem to have been capped.

Hopefully we have a nice home game to start with so we have the best chance to open with a win. We have to play everyone twice of course but would be good to see a revitalised club get a win.

I'd love Mansfield at home followed by Cardiff away who I think could struggle at first.

With the season starting on the 2nd August. Wouldn't it be more likely that we'll play at home first? We have to play away on the weekend of the 23rd/24th August due to Reading festival.

When will the Carabao Cup and Vertu Trophy draws be made?

Fixture Release Day will also incorporate the draws for Round One of the Carabao Cup and the Vertu Trophy Group Stage, which will both take place live on Sky Sports News.

The Vertu Trophy Group Stage Draw will take place at 2:30pm, followed by the Carabao Cup Round One Draw at 4:30pm.

So that's the 2.30 excitement killed then, we've previously had Arsenal and West Ham U21s, be good to get Spurs next.

TV details for the first six rounds of the EFL to be confirmed by 9 July.

TV games and fixture changes until the FA Cup third round in January will be confirmed before the season, with TV picks for the second half of the season announced in November.
