I believe he was in the last year of his deal and likely to have been a fringe player this year for them, so doubt it was much more than a low 6 figure sum with high(ish) sell on %.

Agree would be a surprise for him to start. Unfortunately, I think we're back in a situation where August is a second pre season and we will probably start slowly. But hopefully the new owners are competent enough to ensure this is the last time.

Again not too concerned. Lane has had a full pre season so is physically fit. Shouldn’t take him long to be ready to start

We’ve a stronger forward line than we ended last season with, even without him imo. Kyeweraa should be ready to go, Kelvin and O Mahony have had full preseasons. Garcia, Osho, Camara all capable enough for this coming game

Hopefully Fraser is ready. Then the midfield in good shape. Plenty of options at the back, they just need to play better
