Sutekh Didn’t Wealdstone used to be hard?

....2nd 'Scunny' game in a week 'abandoned' in stoppage time.... tho' last Tuesday at Eastleigh was a clash of heads - so both sides affected.
This PMs was a shoulder injury ..... and as reported the Stones players refused to come back out

#neverinvinnysday

Some expectation that a 2-1 result may well stand.

I read the one last Tuesday was actually really severe, one player had a fit on the floor and swallowed his tongue and the other was unconscious for about 10 mins

WESS-P

Amesbury Town A-A Alresford Town – Abandoned at HT by the Referee - as R&R has stated above
– I’ve only read Alresford’s account of the affair on their TwiX – wonder if it tallies with Amesbury’s – didn’t sound pleasant
:(
Ash United[/b] 3-3 Clanfield
Fawley AFC 1-1 AFC Aldermaston
Frimley Green
1-2 Fleetlands
Hamworthy United 1-3 Cove
Kintbury Rangers
1-6 Colden Common – rather chastening for the new guys
Lymington Town 2-4 Whitchurch United – Jam Boys stay top with 6 form 6
– have an imbalance of league fixtures (9 at home in the first 12) - if I’ve counted properly?)
:?
Yateley United 2-3 Newport (IoW)

TVL-P 14:00
Newbury Town 7-1 Woodcote – early days but quite a statement win against one of the usual ‘big-hitters’ in this division
Haven’t seen a crowd figure but was reported they got three figures in for the previous opener at Faraday Rd
- It was Woodcote’s first game but Newbury sit top with 3 wins from 3 – and they didn’t look that convincing when I saw them in midweek at a very limited Henley.
- looks as if the two scheduled midweek games there later in Sept have both been called off, issues with the lights perhaps, assuming they are planning to put them back up ?

- I was dabbling in this division again yesterday (didn’t want to go too far) and watched the reigning Champs Westwood Wdrs ease past aforementioned Henley, 4-1 at Denefield School.
Sadly it took Town well over an hour to establish that most attacking threats from the hosts, were due to their own short-comings in defensive 'possession and position' - with far too many ineffectual challenges
– A reshuffle of sorts, duly stabilised things but they were 3 behind by then
- is a big ‘Caged’ 3G pitch with benches inside the fencing – light and dugouts.

...just read on NLM that the 'Spanish Archer' treatment been handed out to Jordan Ive and his mgmt team @ Bracknell :?

...and Rob Webb steps up at W&E to replace Angell - supposedly the change driven by work/family commitments?

On the field Burnham's perfect record in CCL-PN went last night, beaten by a very late goal @ Hilltop.

W/E preview to follow on tmrw (Fri)
....it's 2Q in the FA Cup ....

From Bracknell’s website:

https://www.bracknelltownfc.com/

Club Statement – Jordan Ive Removed from position as First Team Manager

Issued on behalf of Chairman, Kayne Steinborn-Busse

Bracknell Town Football Club can confirm that we have parted ways with First Team Manager, Jordan Ive, with immediate effect.

Jordan, in his second spell with the club, departs following a run of performances, results, and decisions that have not aligned with the club’s ambitions or long-term direction.

Alongside Jordan’s departure, his coaching staff — Sam Hawkins and Shaun Andrews — have also left the club.

The club has already begun putting plans in place for the remainder of the season, and further details regarding the First Team’s management structure will be confirmed in due course.
