Brogue

Villarreal has a population of 51,367
their home ground has a capacity of 23,000, so when it’s full, nearly 1 in 2 of them will be supporting their team.

yikes, can't miss that stadium.

a bit like Bursaspor's stadium

do enjoy wandering around the streets outside a stadium on google street view. la Bombonera the obvious winner for that

Corinthians stadium is interesting. pitch is below ground level and so the lower tier of seating also is. they have put only 1 tier of seating behind the goals and then left the stadium open. when you drive past it just looks open and you can kind of see inside.

For those that are interested, a football architecture exhibition opens 25th October at the Tate RIBA in Liverpool.

Kudos to Wagner and co, if they can get this built in 5 years. Looks absolutely sensational IMHO.
