Completely forgot about Saeid Ezatolahi playing for us after playing for Iran at the 2018 World Cup:



Seem to recall he got injured, as he only played four matches for us. Currently at Shabab Al-Ahli Club in the UAE Pro League, where he won the league last season.

I was at Ben Smith's debut (and possibly only appearance?) away to Man City at Maine Rd. Last game of the season, we were 2 up at half time, he came on as a sub for the second half and we lost 3-2.

Steve Blatherwick set up Archie's equaliser in the injury time 1-0 down, 2-1 win against McGhee's Wolves where the injury time only occured because of an injury to Gilksey, who was playing for Wolves. I thinks that almost qualifies him for legend status

I'll raise you a Tony Barras. Signed on loan from York, signed permanently, sold to Walsall all in the space of 6 months. Played against us in the 2001 playoff final.

His name came up in a game of 'who would you rather have in the current squad' with a mate of mine. He was probably the only player since I started going I had no knowledge of.

I've checked and I was certainly at a game he played (West Brom; where he was subbed on at half-time). He was also on the pitch in that game against Norwich when the referee assisted their winner.
