For any St James Park newbies, the indoor Centre Spot fanzone is excellent. One end is set up like a beer festival with local ales and ciders direct from the barrel, plus reasonably priced pasties and pies. Recommended.

Four games postponed so far; ours isn’t one of them.

I hate these sorts of games. Very hard to book train travel with the uncertainty whether it'll go ahead or not

Surely there should be clarification from the club by now?
Getting to a Tuesday evening game represents so many more problems for fans than for a standard Saturday 3-00 p.m. kick-off.

From the Players on international duty thread:

Whore Jackie It's always much later than you think. All of the England youth squads announced this Friday (3 October). The Northampton game was postponed the same day as the England squads announcement in September. Presumably other nations broadly follow this timetable.

U21s announced at 12noon, U20s at 1pm, U19s at 2pm and U18s at 3pm.

Shouldn't clubs know before squads are publicly announced as they'll have to report back on player availability, fitness, etc?

Last time I looked, trains looked a bit of a pain, seemed to take a lot longer than normal. Think there is some works going on further down the line.
