109 away fans - so up around 500 Reading fans on last week.AthleticoSpizz wrote:1623Clyde1998 wrote:Feels like it’s going to be a bigger crowd than last week, although that’s not a high bar to clear.

Just need Swindon to beat West HamSouth Coast Royal wrote:A few things about tonight.
Kelvin still can't play as a striker even against a 4th division reserves side.
Lane doesn't impress although little has been made of the fact that he missed most of the second part of last season through injury.
Borgnis again looked comfortable at centre-back but he didn't have much up against him.
Rushesha and O-P, neither strike me as threatening to be first team players.
Why didn't Ritchie get some game time?
Elliott-stand out player behind nearly everything going forward and was so much in the game but against this level of opposition he should be with his pedigree.
If Hunt does get the sack I can see a different manager wanting to get him in the side but whilst Hunt is the manager he may not get the opportunities that a number of us feel he should which for a first team that creates so few chances in games just seems wrong.
For this competition do we now want Swindon to win all of their games?

It really was men against boys and really controlled a fixture against a very poor looking second string MK Dons side. Quite disappointing that we didn't create many real clear cut chances or give their keeper many saves to make. Got the deserved win in the end and a decent ball in and header to nick it.Orion1871 wrote:This was a game we dominated from start to finish, but didn't look like it was going to be our night. It is a bit worrying with that dominance of the game that we couldn't beat a team that shipped 5 against an under 21 team by more than a single goal.
Good to see Yiadom back and he looked sharp in his 45 minutes. Was more impressed with Kyerewaa tonight then I have been before. Great for Patton to get his first goal. Elliott played well, but unfortunately he doesn't seem to have that last bit of creativity or finishing as evidenced by his miss from one of our better chances of the night.

Funny old game, I thought Elliott flattered to deceive again. Probably the most overrated player in our squad imo.South Coast Royal wrote:A few things about tonight.

Can't say Ryan impressed me a lot. Thought Kelvin did ok up top with some really quite poor service.Fezza wrote:I just don't get all the Elliott love. Felt he offered little tonight, although not as poor as Lane. He's back to looking lightweight.
Kelvin just isn't a striker.
Yiadom looked excellent for 45.
Ryan looks a superb prospect.
