I would like Wellens, but I’m certain it’ll be Bloomfield. He was a strong candidate at Blackpool and then he withdrew from the recruitment process. Ian how is Harris doing at Cambridge?

can we just stop with bringing in managers with hardly any experience ffs. Bloomfield will be a disaster.

Seems a lot of people with an agenda against the owner don't like the Bloomfield idea due to the Wycombe connection (notably Tim Dellor). Are there any insightful reasons why he might not be suited?

For example, is he a project manager who needs a few months to start getting results? We can't afford that. Does he favour high energy pressing? I'm not convinced we're suited to that with our current squad.

I genuinely don't know enough about him other than his results. But it would be good to get a bit more insight than "Wycombe connection = bad", especially from professional journalists.

not enough. The club is still fcuked, and will be for another couple of years as we recover from the dai fall out. we need a wise old head brought in. Since Coppell name me a manager than reading appointed that had lots of experience (english league experience not jose fcuking gomes) ?

Not that it changes much but the tables in Wikipedia are all games.
Eyeball 2022-23 at Colchester and his total includes 1 FA Cup and 3 EFL Trophy games.

That said, 169 games is at most, what?, four seasons as a manager.

Arguably
Nigel Adkins
Brian McDermott (the second time)
Paul Ince (albeit almost a decade prior)

But isn't this part of the problem? - we're fishing in the shallower end of the managerial pool, we've acquired a reputation for being a poorly run club, it's dubious that we might be able to afford the compensation required: all that leaves as available is inexperienced gambles or older managers currently out of work.

Steve Clarke. Tbf, I still think he could have been a great manager for us.

Steve Clarke, Nigel Adkins.

Clarke - as a coach sure, a fine pedigree, but he was a very inexperienced manager when he came to us.

Just read their article

Truth is these websites haven’t really got a clue either way, they came out yesterday and pretty much said done deal with Bloomfield but probably based on nothing but a Wycombe connection
