Mid Sussex Royal As well as league position, I wonder how much the players were to do this?
As yet only Wing (club captain) and Savage of the senior players have wished Hunt the best on social media.
There have been rumours of a bust up involving Lane on Twitter for a few days, and he definitely mouthed off in the direction of the bench after his assist last week.
Wing's body language has looked off on several occasions this season too.

Well we’ll soon find out won’t we. Anyone else you think might make a sudden recovery - Garcia?

I think someone should be given time if you can see the thinking behind the tactics and the way they try to get the team to play but I just couldn't see that with Noel. He just seems to have continued with Selles approach which is now dwindling as he runs out of ideas about how to continue.
Even SJM acted when it wasn't working. Remember Rodgers?
Although Rodgers got ~22 league games, not 14, and had us firmly in the bottom 2 and absolutely clueless, losing a lot. And no history of success with us. And had spent a lot of money. And reportedly just demanded more money to fix things in January when challenged on his performance. And took over a side in rude health.
Managers are sacked too soon these days. This was reaching the point it was getting inevitable, but I would have expected it at least a few games later.
Obviously a key part of not having a revolving door is to stop appointing absolute clowns like Gomes, Stam or Ince, and to actually support the managers with good signings.

stealthpapes There was a good bit in Clyde's article where three managers at risk of being sacked were detailed - in all three cases, we did not sack the managers.

Th results under Rodgers were picking up at the time he was sacked. He was almost certainly sacked due to that interview with Dellor; I think Rodgers said he was expecting the meeting he got sacked to be about the transfer window, but it never got to that.
He had a massively changed squad on the previous season - we lost Hahnemann; Convey; Lita; Murty; Doyle; Hunt; Bikey; Harper; and Rosenior. We signed Mills; McAnuff; Rasiak; Cummings; Howard; Bertrand; and O'Dea. We had a number of academy players start their first serious season - Sigurdsson; Church; Karacan; Pearce; Robson-Kanu. Net spending on the squad (transfer fees and wages) would've been heavily negative.

The Royal Forester I am beginning to think this was a knee jerk reaction by Couhig and co. No caretaker manager named, no manager seemingly lined up. Perhaps he expected Bloomfield would jump at the chance of be our manager and he/they were wrong. I just hope it won't be a case of him/us regretting the change. Club 1871 will not give the new man long to turn things around. Does it have to be a man though? A female manager would give RFC plenty of media attention, at least for a while.

Results picking up is very much overstating it.
