...Ta - will keep an eye on that - no idea why they switched it - were @ Cantley last Sat (25th) and for previous games?
Wargrave's next home game is scheduled for the 22nd Nov & showing Cantley at the moment
- is in the new 'TVPL Cup' - so in theory could play that anywhere they deem fit?
- the pitch at Cantley (usually on the 3G) may have been 'double booked'.
Maidenhead Town don't use Bisham now as they've moved in with Burnham - not sure who else does?

– They have had some early season squad struggles but are carrying on as best they can.
Lost 0-5 to ‘Cityzens’ Reserves on Sat PM
Their own Reserve side won 3-1 in Div 3
- is a mite confusing as there are two other sides playing under the Finchampstead United tag : their Firsts play at Cantley in D2 & the Reserves play somewhere in Crowthorne at D4?

F-T 3-0 fairly even 1st half until the Hereford centre half was sent off for 2 yellows right on HT- Oxford scored from the free -kick and were in control from then on. Crowd given as 618 - not sure there were that many there !

Read elsewhere (on NLM) that the Oxford City v 'Bulls' game was segregated - albeit my acquaintance that attended and reported back on the game last night, referred to the 'barrier' as "a bit of orange tape and a couple of wheely bins"
- all that for barely 200 Hereford fans.
.... he did remark that they didn't bother when a much larger York City contingent turned up last season.
Seems the Chipp'num v Salisbury game last night, was similarly 'stewarded'. Fans were directed to different parts of the ground depending on 'loyalties' - never quite sure how they will treat anyone stating 'neutral' in those circumstances.
I've found 'home declaration' is the safest where enforced (it isn't usually) as you'll at least be guaranteed a bar/food - which isn't always the case at the 'lower' end of the pyramid?


.... got to Wilks Park last night (Tue 4th) for:
SL1-C Flackwell 1-2 Leighton Town - pretty drab uninspiring fare from both sides - surprising given visitors were unbeaten leaders.
Expected more from them but once they re-took the lead just before the break, they did just enough to 'hold at arms length' a relatively unimaginative 'Heathens' outfit.
The hosts gave it their best in the 2nd half but one marginally offside goal chalked-off aside, there wasn't much to cheer the home fans amongst the low turnout (only 129)
Further disappointment being the lack of Rebellion in the Bar (other than bottles) - the new food outlet seems an upgrade though.
- think I may have developed an unwanted 'jinx' over FH - sure they've lost on the last 4 or 5 times I've attended now?

- Westfield grabbed an added time leveller vs Portchester in an eight goal thriller - stay 2nd
- leaders Leatherhead won comfortably 3-1 at Egham
