Exeter played their game in the last IB so they might not request a postponement unlike Northampton

Camara is out for 2 months and Garcia out for a month. That's what Hunt said in his previous interviews on Berks in the past few weeks.

I am odds on this game goes ahead.

Agreed. Surely we would've known by know if it was going to be postponed too?

It's always much later than you think. All of the England youth squads announced this Friday (3 October). The Northampton game was postponed the same day as the England squads announcement in September. Presumably other nations broadly follow this timetable.

O'Mahony called up to Ireland Under-21s...odds on it being postponed shortened again?

Snowflake Royal
stealthpapes Camara
Rushesha
O'Mahoney

are the most likely and that takes us to the 3, right?

Dorsett is also a possible, Garcia depending on England age groups

No idea where Exeter are on this - two or three look possible.

Garcia surely won't be called up with his injury.

Camara is also currently injured isn't he?

I'll be honest, I didn't look at injuries. If that is the case, then I think we'll end up with two called up.

Just looking at the situation with the Wigan game.

Confirmed
  1. Guinea-Bissau (Mamadi Camara) play Angola in a friendly - link.
Possible
  1. Malta (Basil Tuma) play Finland and Poland in World Cup qualifying.
  2. Ireland U21s (Mark O'Mahony) play England and Andorra in Euro qualifying.
  3. England U19s (Andre Garcia) play Lithuania; Latvia; and Scotland in Euro qualifying.
Nation not playing
  1. Montserrat (Jeriel Dorsett)
  2. Zimbabwe (Tivonge Rushesha)
If it's three away for a game to be postponed; I'd imagine we'll get to that with Camara; O'Mahony; and Tuma. Might be in our interests at the moment with the new manager coming in and all the injuries we have.

Expecting this game to go ahead as scheduled - neither club had sufficient call ups for a postponement at the last break. Would rather it got played than having it shifted to another Tuesday night.

I think it will be called off....Tuma & O'Mahony called up last time and likely will be again, and Camara has been called up this time (injured last break so only 2 away).

Pretty sure LR will want this game off to work with the squad and to hopefully get some players back fit.

If the balance between staying and moving was a slight advantage to moving a game before, given the recent change of manager, we'd be very short sighted to want to play the game now.

If MOM scores in the league he'll probably get a full cap :?

Of course it'll probably be a big game for Leam and Rob as it'll be the first time back to Wigan as a management team since departing in 2022 so presume they may well have the players suitably (over)hyped :?

The England squad announcements are tomorrow: https://www.englandfootball.com/article ... s-20250311

Would be a bit surprised if Garcia is in the U19 squad, but remains a possibility.

Especially true with Marriott injured.

Losing O’Mahony and Tuma means only Ehibhatiomhan as a striking option out of the players who’ve played a league game for us (unless I’m forgetting someone).

Some might say losing O'Mahoney and Tuma has no real effect on our strength up front.

Harsh on Tuma. And I guess we should see how MOM responds under LR and after getting a gial.

MoM has looked quite handy last few games. We can afford to be without Tuma and Garcia, I think no MoM would be a problem. I’m not sure we’ll be seeing Camara again.

DK suspended for next game as well
