Is it too early to say that LFC wasted £120M on Wirst or Utd spunked £70M on Sesko

Are there other underperforming big names? I mean, I could give them time to settle in, but furkdat, right?

Being very much suggested by The Athletic that Harvey Elliot isn't playing for Villa as the £35M obligation to buy part of his loan deal only becomes active once he plays 10 games for them, and having played 5 already and not massively impressed, they are now just leaving him out.

In a season before a world cup too, where he had really impressed for Liverpool and England under 21's last season

Go to Napoli. That's where United flops become world beaters.

Whilst not at Fergie levels, his record is hardly a flop...is your team still going?

Prem:

- finished 3rd twice

FA Cup: winner 2023–24; runner-up: 2017–18, 2022–23
EFL Cup: 2022–23[40]
UEFA Europa League runner-up: 2020–21

League Champions with Napoli

Steven Gerrard in a 17-year career:

UEFA Champions League: 2004–05; runner-up: 2006–07[289]
UEFA Cup: 2000–01

3rd three times

His importance to the team has declined dramatically since his breakout season. Flop.

 I wasn't gonna respond because I knew that would be the response. I was skimming Twitter and saw that RFC had another winding-up order against them (Howe?), so that's why it was in my head. I dare not venture onto the TB to find out what's going on. Hopefully, it gets resolved.

I don't particularly rate him. We completely misused him at Utd...he's big, let's stick him at no.6
