That is a hell of a finish by Marriott.

Still only 3 points off the relegation zone as it stands, which is pretty extraordinary with 28 points from 21.

For what's a very comfortable scoreline, it's all down to a 12th minute pen and red, and Plymouth then shitting themselves in their own box for the next ten minutes.

Without that 10 minute spell, Plymouth have looked very good, and not at all a man down.

Reading now up to 12th and have a good chance of going into the top 10 if they can do Peterborough on Monday.

Very good result, if rather mixed performance. I don’t see Plymouth being relegated based on recent results and that performance. More like a comfortable 16th.

Pereira won that for us. That pen goes in and it's hard to see us holding on.

Yeah you can’t really judge too much in the circumstances really. Stupid pen and sending off to give away (it was a red) then some truly absymal defending for our third and it’s kind of game over

Plymouth battled pretty well but their appalling pen miss killed the game off.

Still we made quite few chances, Kelvin E looked pretty sharp, Marriott keeps up a ridiculous scoring record but still big questions for me over Doyle and DK today. That DK miss was beyond useless

But a great result and 13 points from 7 now for LR which is very good. Need to keep it going with the POs somehow looking further away than ever despite the half decent form

Weird game, suppose always hard to play properly when 3-0 up against 10

slow game down, keep possession, make the other team run.

4-1 is still a big win.

Marriott's record for us is ludicrous right?

But he really should save their goal and stop the comeback from starting.

Balances out overall. Keepers make mistakes at this level and he responded well.

Sigh.

They've always been a solid run of form away. This is effectively a new squad, doubly so now, and it takes time and patience.

It’s a great result but not sure we really did slow the game down particularly well. But doesn’t matter a lot at the end of the day

Marriotts certainly on a hot streak with some excellent finishes recently.

Only our fans can moan after a 4-1 win, we did the job, we were away, they`re always going to have chances even with 10 men.
