I read the one last Tuesday was actually really severe, one player had a fit on the floor and swallowed his tongue and the other was unconscious for about 10 mins

Newbury Town 7-1 Woodcote – early days but quite a statement win against one of the usual ‘big-hitters’ in this division
Haven’t seen a crowd figure but was reported they got three figures in for the previous opener at Faraday Rd
- It was Woodcote’s first game but Newbury sit top with 3 wins from 3 – and they didn’t look that convincing when I saw them in midweek at a very limited Henley.
- looks as if the two scheduled midweek games there later in Sept have both been called off, issues with the lights perhaps, assuming they are planning to put them back up ?

- I was dabbling in this division again yesterday (didn’t want to go too far) and watched the reigning Champs Westwood Wdrs ease past aforementioned Henley, 4-1 at Denefield School.
Sadly it took Town well over an hour to establish that most attacking threats from the hosts, were due to their own short-comings in defensive 'possession and position' - with far too many ineffectual challenges
– A reshuffle of sorts, duly stabilised things but they were 3 behind by then
- is a big ‘Caged’ 3G pitch with benches inside the fencing – light and dugouts.

Bracknell Town Football Club can confirm that we have parted ways with First Team Manager, Jordan Ive, with immediate effect.

Jordan, in his second spell with the club, departs following a run of performances, results, and decisions that have not aligned with the club’s ambitions or long-term direction.

Alongside Jordan’s departure, his coaching staff — Sam Hawkins and Shaun Andrews — have also left the club.

The club has already begun putting plans in place for the remainder of the season, and further details regarding the First Team’s management structure will be confirmed in due course.

- was at this - decided against a ‘new tick’ a couple of levels lower (Hants Div. One) just round the corner at Rushmoor Community – turned out a fortunate choice as it pi$$ed it down for 15 min or more – and fairly certain there’s no cover at Southwood PF.
- Cove looked quite good at this 'level’ - comfortably overcame the iside sitting in 2nd spot.
- Slowly unfolding into quite a competitive division this term, with most of our 'more local’ outfits, barring perhaps Yateley, starting quite well?

- bit of an upset here - though when I saw these meet a week or so back in the reverse fixture @ Mill Lane, there's wasn't, in truth, much between them - but nonetheless 'bottom' beat 'top' & 100% comfortably - on the face of it.

As mentioned above, Maidenhead had a lot of good chances, but couldn't score. They hit the bar/post in stoppage time and had plenty of chances cleared off the line.

Watching the highlights, I forgot Faversham could've killed the game off though with how chaotic this game was compared to what I'm used to watching Reading ( ). Fair play to Faversham for getting through this as they fought well throughout.

Need to get to more non-league games this season.

I thought Faversham were in the scefl premier and were the ones who beat se dons to the title last year? Which would make them step 5 of non league i think?

But there must be another Faversham because I remember the one who played SE Dons last year had an extremely stupid American name
