Funny, you hardly seemed so positive at the time; regularly missing games through 'injury' and often making Simon Sheppard look like Lev Yashin.

Hmmm, he wasn't that bad, he really wasn't.

True that. There were worse keepers than Sheppard. And I keep forgetting his name, he's that bad - played in the early 90's, was usually the reserve keeper. He eventually ended up at Aylesbury. First name might be Phil.

Speaking of crap keepers, I noticed from the league 2 play-off final that Nicky Colgan was on the bench....

Used The Cube's old website to recollect the name of the shittiest keeper ever....Gary Phillips.

Backpass magazine (you should be able to find it in WH SMiths and other good newsagents) has an article this month on the history of the Euros and speaks to Bobby as part of the review on 1996. In it Bobby is very praising of his time at Reading and says he had a fantastic time here and that we have marvellous fans, play great football and that he made many good friends....

To be honest, it's not as if he's going to say "the fans didn't really seem to like me. They never got my name right, and once invaded the pitch to protest when I let in six."

Still, it's better than Mass Sarr saying what a great time he had at Reading, helping get us into the premier league.
