It was another disappointing draw for the Royals as they were rewarded for their 2-1 victory at Cardiff City with yet another trip to a Championship side in the next round. Reading will face fifth placed Derby County on 14 February 2015. The Royals have put out two Championship sides away from home so far to get to the fifth round, after beating Huddersfield 1-0 away in round three.
While Reading have had three straight away games in the competition it will be Derby's third straight home game. Derby beat Southport 1-0 in round three and Chesterfield 2-0 in the fourth round.
Reaading have already lost to Derby County in the Cup this season - we were beaten 0-2 at Derby in the third round of the League Cup back in September. Derby also stuffed us 0-3 at home in October. Our fourth meeting with Derby this season, and our third at their place, comes on the final day of the season.
